As no two cakes are the same you can 'build your own'
As a qualified painter, I like to add a little bit of artistic flair to our cakes be it in the design, unusual setup or an all-out painted cake.
We specialise in rustic and bohemian cakes, namely naked, semi-naked, buttercream, dripped cakes, sugarcraft and painted fondant. Check out our gallery or our Pinterest account for some cakespiration.
Wedding cakes do not have to be tiered, either a selection of tall single cakes or a dessert table can make a striking statement.
I am not a fan of copying other cakes but I do think images can help customers describe their ideas so I can create your mood board.
Once the date has been confirmed as available we will organise a tasting or consultation with Charlie at our workshop and showroom in Aylsham. If you cannot make it to Norwich we can sometimes see customers at the Norwich branch of Biddy's.
A consultation lasts an hour and you can choose 4 flavours to sample. They are £20 and include 4 cakes and tea for two. You can enjoy your cake woth a cuppa or take it away with you.
Bring any ideas with you at this point and we will discuss all aspects of your cake. Cakes are completely individual and we try to create something truly unique.
Samples for cakes not requiring a consultation are £12 for 4 flavours.
Set up at the venue is included with the cost of any of our cakes. We want your cake to look spectacular on your big day so we will spend up to an hour arranging is, adding flowers or foliage and taking lots of pictures for you! We even lend one of our beautiful cake stands for free with all of our cakes (just bring it back within a week) The type of stand will normally be decided by us to best compliment your cake and style of wedding, but if you have an idea in mind let us know.
